Orion Corn Stick Cow Bong Milk (오리온 콘스틱 카우봉 밀크)
This odd-looking snack stick I suppose is a variation on churros. The sticks are hollow with a milk-flavored coating on the inside. The flavor of these weren't bad; they kinda reminded me of Captain Crunch kid's cereal. My rating: ★★★☆☆

Haitai White Angel Pretty (해태 호이트언젤 프리티)
No strange flavors with this snack. It's a plain 'ol chocolate bar. The current packaging features various Disney princesses. We're quite spoiled by excellent chocolate in the USA (ie. Hershey's), so the bar is set pretty high. I have had some pretty bad foreign chocolate. But, as chocolate bars go, this was pretty good. I suppose after 70 years of Americans in South Korea, someone taught them how to make decent chocolate. My rating: ★★★★☆

Lotte Skinny Cacao Pepero (롯데 스키니 카카오 빼빼로)
Yet another take on the ubiquitous Pepero stick, this time in a thinner form. I like the chocolate sticks with these. They're better than the plain ones. My rating: ★★★★☆

Baekje Instant Rice Cake Soup (백제 우리쌀 즉석 떡국)
Traditionally associated with Lunar New Year's celebrations, Rice Cake Soup is thinly-sliced rice cake, tteok ( 떡), in a creamy broth made from a variety of protein sources (beef, chicken, or seafood). Easy to prepare, you just put contents of the rice cake and broth packets in the bucket, fill to the line with boiling water, wait for 3 minute, stir, and serve. The broth is not overly spicy, but flavorful, and the rice cake, of course, is very filling. I quite liked it. My rating: ★★★★☆

Lotte Crunchy Waffles-Milk Melon (롯데 크런치웨하스 밀크메론)
Today I've got another sugar-wafer type snack, this time with melon flavor. These were pretty much as I would have expected. Again, they are not a sugary-sweet as American sugar wafers, but the melon flavor was in interesting twist. Not bad. My rating: ★★★☆☆

Samyang Kimchi Jjigae Cup Ramen (삼양 김치찌개면)
It's been a while since I had new ramen variety, but today I've got another. This time I've got Kimchi Jjigae, which is a popular stew-like dish made with kimchi. Prep is quite simple - just add boiling water up to the fill line, wait for 4-5 minutes, and then add the powdered flavor packet. I topped it off with some additional "fresh" kimchi (courtesy of my local Korean grocer). The flavor of this dish was similar to others I've had. It was spicy, but not overwhelmingly so. Pretty decent overall. My rating: ★★★★☆

Haitai Egg Wafers (해태 게란과자)
These wafers are made from an egg-based batter. The packaging features the Minecraft 'Sandbox Friends' Yangdding x Ddotty, who are very popular with kids in Korea. While there is nothing particularly special or unusual about these light, slightly sweet wafers, they are quite tasty. I liked 'em. My rating: ★★★★☆

Samlip Katsuo Udon Noodle Soup (삼립 가쓰오 우덩)
Today I've got another soup variety, this time with thick udon noodles and flavored with katsuo (aka skipjack tuna). Prep is quite simple, just boil the udon in 350ml of water for 2 minutes, add the liquid soup base packet and veggie & fish flakes and serve. I quite liked this soup. It had a nice flavor that was neither spicy nor overly fishy. The udon were very filling. I'd be happy to have it again. My rating: ★★★★☆
