I have the Blu-ray box set - I always watch it in the original Japanese with subtitles, the English dubbing just sounds a little odd to me.

Fruits Basket will always hold a special place in my heart as one of many factors that drew me into the Japanese language and culture. I haven't watched an episode in a long while; I think I'll try and make time for that tonight.

Has anyone seen Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth? It's a gorgeous anime telling the story of a little Japanese girl, Yune (湯音), sent to live and work for an old man, Oscar Claudel and his adult son Claude in their little ironworks shop in Paris at the end of the 19th century, and the story centers around the mingling of these two very different cultures.

Alice Blanche, a Parisian girl who is enthralled with the Japanese culture, and Yune. It really is such a sweet show.

My favorite anime film is Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki. Ever since I first saw it on tv when I was little, I fell in love with the movie and I had to have it, but I didn't have any money to buy it so I had to borrow my friend's copy that she got for Christmas and then finally, last Christmas, I got Spirited Away. xD

Fruits Basket. Fruits Basket is one of my favorites. I would have to put it at number one then I have others that should also be number one but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Fruits Basket. Loved the Anime/Manga. Started with the anime and had to pick up the manga to finish the storyline
