I just love this Japanese drama. I've seen the anime and I've cried a million times. But this Japanese drama has many different parts to it, so it's definitely worth watching. I already seen Mischievous kiss: Love in Tokyo, so now I'm on the second season of the series and oh my...seriously, I love almost every second of it. Please share if you've seen this drama before...I'd really love to hear your input on how you feel about it. I'll definitely reply to share my opinion.

I've seen the first season and I'm also watching the second season. I've also seen part of the Korean version but I like the Japanese version better because it's more funny and entertaining. xD I also went waaaaaay back and tried watching the older Japanese version from 1996-97? I think that's the year. Anyways, it was alright but I prefer the modern version. xD

I usually don't like watching a remake of something if it's gonna be completely the same thing, (I've watched the Korean version) but for the Japanese drama, there's varies of scenes/parts of the story that wasn't in the anime, so I'm glad I didn't go in my mind to say it'll be the exact same thing as the anime. And I haven't watched the older Japanese version, but I don't think I will lol. Maybe by chance.

Love Mischievous kiss watched the first season and was so happy that they made a 2nd season. Read the manga first (but didn't get to finish it yet, still need to finish buying it). I watched the anime and the Korean version (which I enjoyed). From what I understand when I read the comments Mischievous Kiss is the closest to the manga. I haven't watched the They Kissed or they Kissed again that is on my list. I don't mind watching the same story different ways I enjoy seeing how each of them do the story, some are more serious then the others. I can't believe there is only 3 more episodes to go Wondering if they are going to make a 3rd season (I doubt it but I wish they would).

I just finished binge watching Mischievous Kiss 1 & 2. Loved them. The whole cast was great. My two minor complaints were that Kotoko was a little bit over the top in #2 and a bit too loud. It was a bit more slapstick than I care for, but that's very minor. Kotoko was a darling. Naoki was perfect in all his sly little looking away in exasperation expressions. I also loved that they kissed and kissed. I wouldn't mind seeing that in Kdramas. It wasn't eroticised, just sweetly romantic. The other slight annoyance was the truly terrible wig they put on Chris. What the heck? They couldn't afford a better wig??? I also laughed over her being 'English' when it was so obvious she was American by her accent. Oh well I'm sure it's harder for an ESL audience to recognize that.
Overall, I'd give it a 95 out of 100.

I forgot to add that I watched the Korean version and didn't like it as much. Even with the incredibly cute Kim Hyun-joong. It was a role that suited him well and the story was mostly just as sweet, but not as humorous as the Jdrama. There wasn't as much of the hilarious family interactions. (I'll never look at visiting a graveyard the same way again!)

Yeah, I couldn't get through the Korean version cause it wasn't as funny as the Japanese version. I've also seen the Japanese version from the 90's.

Where did you find the 90's version? Did it go by the same name?
