I got to know him since watched The Phantom of Opera 1925 in 2010. But began to have an interest in him in The Cruise of Jasper B performed by Rod Ra Roque and Mildred Harris yesterday. He is quite tiny, but interesting.

I remember him vividly in that film. Also in Buster Keaton's Seven Chances (1925). He had a face like a ghoul but used it for humor, not for fear purposes.

I never watched Seven Chances. By the way I complain he never appeared in films of Chaplin or Lloyd.

He probably didn't work for their studios. I know Chaplin and Edwards both appeared in Souls For Sale together, but there were a lot of cameos in that film. They might have even rubbed shoulders in something like Ben-Hur, where lots of stars were in the chariot race scene just blending into the crowd, just so they could say they made an appearance - somewhere - in that epic.
