Sounds pretty grisly. Do you think this was one made for children, or one of the older ones meant to be seen by adults in the theater as an accompaniment to the main feature?

Don't know but it played on regular TV when I was about 7 or 8, with all the rest of the cartoons. And I remember the music was scary too.

Sounds pretty grisly. Here is a fascinating one (though rather disturbing, oddly.)

Please receive my Sagwa= An apple. I wanted to watch the cartoon Jill mentioned. But Google does not have the information. However I found the cartoon similar to it. Herman and Katnip

It was so sick it might have been pulled from syndication a long time ago.

Btw, Viki.com has quite a roster of old cartoons. Don't know if you can see them in South Korea because of "region differences" but people in America should be able to see them, even if they aren't a paid member.

Somewhere in Dreamland is a classic—very heartwarming.
I'd never seen Hollywood picnic. That's a fun one to watch.

This print is better than Viki's.

I usually watch videos in Youtube or Vimeo. They have sharper videos than Viki. A Fractured Leghorn

There were so many YouTube videos of Somewhere In Dreamland of variable quality, I had to "shop around". The one above comes from an official site that seems like they pride themselves more on better quality. For instance the base audio of that file was WAV which has a fuller, richer sound. The vast majority of YouTube videos uploaded are either MP2, MP3, or AC3, all far more compressed than WAV, and when those files are uploaded YouTube's Flash compression squeezes the quality of those already compressed files down to pathetic quality, that's why so many YouTube videos have crappy sound quality. Squished to smithereens.

A Broken Leghorn
The Foghorn is amusing.
Actually I used to know the chicken was a hen before watching the videos.
Duck Amuck- It's quite interesting.
My Favorite Duck-Porky is suitable for Daffy's partner
