I just watched Merry Mannequins. That one is unique, for sure! The inventiveness and animation skills exhibited there are amazing.

I had not heard of Flip before, either. I couldn't watch the video link above, but I watched some of another Flip cartoon. He looks like an interesting character.

Nostalgic! I thought of my childhood while watching.
Members of juries in the cartoons looks like dwarfs in Disney's Snow White and Seven Dwarfs.

This and Silly Symphony look alike a little. But Merrie is better. The most interesting scene is that two pigs danced with two suits of Spanish clothing and castanets.

Yes, that part is interesting—the pigs seem to suddenly change appearance and personality (and have apparently made a split-second decision to beat the wolf up and steal his costume, which is strange).
