Does anyone have a list of Korean movies available to watch on Netflix? Like, all of them? There are SOOO many to type out. Eh, but why not. I'll start with the ones I've seen and can personally recommend, and then just go from there. - A Company Man *The description basically spoils the film. Sorry. Avoid reading the description before watching * - The Host - A mutant creature has developed from toxic chemical dumping. When the monster scoops up the granddaughter of a snack-bar owner, he races to save her. - The Man From Nowhere - Tae-Sik is a widower with a mysterious past. When a young girl he befriends is kidnapped by a vicious drug gang, Tae-Sik rushes to save her. * If you're cool with insane martial arts, violence and just all around awesomeness, this is THE next movie you should watch * - My Girlfriend Is An Agent - This action-packed comedy follows the adventures of top Korean spy Soo-Ji Ahn, whose heart is broken when her nerdy fiancé abandons her. - Oldboy - With no clue how he came to be imprisoned, drugged and tortured for 15 years, a desperate businessman seeks revenge on his captors. * Everybody knows this movie by now I hope. It has my favorite fight scene in a movie yet, done entirely in one shot. It has an ending M. Night Shyamalan would be proud of. All around good movie, but kind of dark, so fair warning * - Rough Cut - A film within a film threatens to become more real -- and more deadly -- than the life of its bad-boy star when he hires a gangster for a key role. - Snowpiercer * Not sure if this is a Korean film, but Netflix says it is so I'll go with it. It's the freshest take on a dystopian future I've seen in a long time. Take your knowledge of that and add in the limitations of throwing all of the world's survivors on one train. Actually don't, because it will probably end bad * - The Tower - A Christmas party at a luxury high-rise in Seoul turns into a nightmare when two helicopters collide over the building, starting a deadly fire. * Watching this was like a throwback to a time when disaster movies were made for cinemas and not SyFy originals. It actually reminded me a lot of The Towering Inferno (1974) or The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Great disaster movies with a real feel of terror and concern and actual plausibility. I'd say they're my favorite disaster movies and I'd put The Tower with them * - Woochi - Spanning four centuries in Korea, this epic action-adventure concerns a powerful pipe and a trio of wizards who will do anything to protect it. * This movie is much better than the description gives it credit for. Mystical martial arts reminiscent of Jackie Chan Adventures, a remarkably loveable cast and a light hearted movie all around. It's my go to when I'm sick and moping around the house * To everyone, I'm sorry for the wall of text. From here it's just a list with no descriptions. - 200 Pounds Beauty - Acoustic - Actresses - The Aggressives - April Snow - Baby and Me - A Barefoot Dream - Bedevilled - The Berlin File - Black Eagle - Blood and Ties - The Boat - Breathless - Cafe Seoul - Commitment - Confession of Murder - Crying Fist - Dachimawa Lee - Daisy - Dino King - Doomsday Book - Dream - The Executioner - Five Senses of Eros - Fly High - Fortunate Salon - Girl Scouts - Girlfriends - The Good. the Bad, the Weird - The Guard Post - Happy Naked Christmas - Heartbreak Library - Hide and Seek - Higanjima - Highway Star - The Housemaid - I Saw the Devil - In Another Country - In Between Days - The Intimate - IRIS - Jenny, Juno - Kundo: Age of the Rampant - Lady Vengeance - Land of Scarecrows - Loveholic - Lovers of Six years - Man of Vendetta - Marrying the Mafia 2 - Marrying the Mafia 3 - Masquerade - Missing - Moebius - Monopoly - More Than Blue - Mr. Lee vs. Mr. lee - My Friend & His Wife - My Friend Bernard - My Girl & I - My Way - The Naked Kitchen - New World - No Doubt - Now and Forever - The Outlaw - The Pit and the Pendulum - Poetry - The Pot - Punch Lady - The Righteous Thief - Running Turtle - Sad Movie - Secret Love - The Secret Reunion - Silk Shoes - The Suspect - Sympathy for Mr. Revenge - Tabloid Truth - A Tale of Legendary Libido - The Taste of Money - Texture of Skin - Tidal Wave - To Catch a Virgin Ghost - Too Young to Die - Traces of Love - Traffickers - Viva Love - War of the Arrows - The Warrior - Welcome to Dongmakgol - A Werewolf Boy - Midnight FM - Perfect Match - The Thieves Okay, we're done and I learned two things. There are a couple of movies I need to start watching right now and that Netflix doesn't understand that alphabetic order means to actually follow the alphabet. I hope this is everything you wanted. There are tv shows on Netflix too, but they're harder to find. If you want those I can look them up too.

I'm watching so many right now that it's hard to keep up with them. - Detectives of Seonam Girls' High School - Fool's Love - Kill Me, Heal Me - Hyde, Jekyll, and I - Blood - Roommate - Running Man - Punch - God's Gift - 14 Days
They're all really good. Running Man seems pretty weak these last few weeks but I'm hoping it gets better again. I'm actually having a hard time with Punch though. The characters are all really well done and fleshed out, and I know that the characters and story are really the driving point of the show but I have a really hard time enjoying anything about lawyers. The show is still good enough for me to get past that though.

It always feels like I'm the only one watching that drama. xD What episode are you on? Because there's a big surprise in episode 11 at the very end. xD

The show began good and somehow managed to get even better. My favorite moments are when they break the fourth wall or make jabs at the actresses' real life like Hyeri's acting. I'm caught up, I saw the ending you're talking about, and it was really amazing! I sorta called it from that hallway scene, but I wasn't sure because even though the show dives right into the taboo, I didn't know just how far they would go. It was a wonderful episode, and probably one of the best (insert spoiler here) moments I've seen in any show period. I lost track of time and got so upset when I realized the episode was over.

I figured it out at the hallway scene too. xD I was like, "Wait, that girl seems suspicious." and then when the girls mentioned the couple rings, I was like holy shit. xD Like man, I'm getting so many twists here and there. First Kill Me, Heal Me with the ending of the last episode and now this. xD

You might want to check Netflix tonight for that long list of Korean movies. Some are disappearing tomorrow, like Black Eagle (2012) with Rain and Lee Jong Suk.

Hyde, Jekyll and I gets better with each episode. That's unlike many other Korean dramas I have watched where there is a slump in the middle.

I'm watching, Kill Me Heal Me, Fools Love and rewatching Secret/Secret Love. The ending of eps 16 for KMHM just blew me mind w/that last twist. I did see the first eps of Blood, liked it and will catch up as soon as I finish Secret.

I'm waiting (impatiently) for tonight's episode of Fool's Love. I was not a huge fan of either of the leads so I wasn't even going to bother with this one. I'm so glad I did. I'm still not loving UEE. I've only seen Choi Woo Shik in smaller parts. I thought he was okay but not impressive. I can't believe it but I'm lovin' this drama. He is either perfect for this part OR this part is perfect for him!

I couldn't wait for episode 13 of Hyde, Jekyll and I so I watched it raw earlier this afternoon during my lunch break. I could tell what was going on without subtitles. They're getting wise about Joon Sung being the doctor's kidnapper. Robin goes to visit him in his office and I suspect that the third person "Terry" will come out and try to attack him.
Can anyone give me a quick summary about what Healer is about? I keep hearing raves about it, but Jill was lukewarm about it, so now I am curious. Is it really that good as everyone is saying?

I'm currently watching Single Cunning Lady on Netflix - I'm liking it. It's not a deep drama more like a light romantic comedy.

This week, I’ve been catching up on the fusion sageuk, Shine or Go Crazy. For the first few episodes, this show honestly really wasn’t grabbing me. I actually put it on the shelf for a couple weeks, while I was finishing up the superb Empress Ki, but now I’ve come back to it. While I’m still not really loving it, it is growing on me a bit. Unlike most of the historicals I watch, Shine Or Go Crazy is a comedy, so it can be rather silly at times. The male lead, Prince Wang So (Jang Hyuk) plays a guy, who intentionally acts like an irresponsible idiot to avoid the attention of the palace power players. I have to say, people acting like idiots gets on my nerves, but fortunately it seems that the prince’s true nature has been revealed, so hopefully he can drop the act soon. I do like the female lead, Shin Yool (Oh Yeon Seo). For most of the first half of the series, she has been dressing as a man to fool the prince about her identity, but he has fallen for her anyway. That’s been good for quite a few gender-bending gags and such. The show is fairly entertaining so far; I just can’t say I’m loving it. Here’s the latest song from the OST, “Person Who I Miss” performed by Song Ji Eun (from the idol group, Secret). It was composed by Rocoberry, who did songs for It’s Okay, That’s Love and Pinnochio.
