Great. Don't miss him in Kang Goo's Story (2014) too which is on Dramafever. It's only two episodes - you can have another K-drama under your belt in just one day! - but it's amazingly powerful, and he's utterly fantastic in it. It also features the best and most unique piggy back ride in K-drama history. When I first saw it I re-wound it over and over again because it was so gorgeously filmed. It was supposed to be a major television event because it was originally filmed in 3-D, so people in Korea could watch it in 3-D if they had the glasses or a 3-D television set.
Well I finished my last review for awhile, for You're All Surrounded, for my web site, I probably won't have the energy to do another one for several weeks while I recover from surgery. It's pretty short because I was rather disappointed in it. Both lead male actors had far better chemistry with actresses in their other dramas.

I was pleased to see two people in the cast of last year's Cunning Single Lady aka Sly and Single Again: Kang Joon from Roommate and The Suspicious Housekeeper, and actress Gyu Ri Kim from The King's Face. I'm on episode 7 already, I am enjoying it quite a lot. Looks like I'll be able to finish it by Thursday night.

I started to watch Tamra the island. I'm hooked. xD Normally I don't like historical dramas cause they always seemed so boring to me but Tamra keeps me interested.

It's just pure fun, and like I've mentioned before, it's the only K-drama in 131 watched now that shows a romance between a Korean girl and a Westerner (William).

Watched episode 15 of Hyde, Jekyll and I. Really well written episode and tied up some loose ends. I think the remaining episodes will finish up on completely healing Seo Jin - and whether Robin will become part of him and blend in with Seo Jin, or completely disappear will be what they focus on next.

Episode 13 of Detective Girl's High was so intense that it felt like I was holding my breath the whole time.

Careful you don't pass out from the intensity.

I managed to polish off a review for my last K-drama completed Cunning Single Lady (2014) with Lee Min Jung (aka Sly and Single Again).

I really enjoyed this show a lot. I just breezed through it. If you watch it make sure you watch it on Instant Netflix, where the print is superb!
Now I'm off to watch episode 16 of Hyde, Jekyll and I. Then I'm gonna crash because I need a good night's sleep before surgery tomorrow.
See ya'll in a week or two! God bless!

I literately felt like I was about to pass out and I had to calm myself and drink some water to calm down. xD

Well, with my home desktop PC temporarily out of commission, I made pretty short work of The Reputable Family [2010] on Hulu Plus and have now cancelled my subscription for the time being. As expected, The Reputable Family won't rank very high on my list of watched drama series, but it wasn't bad either. I enjoyed it well enough. It was a morality tale of a noble, who always tried to put the welfare of his fellow man ahead of his own. This was of course in stark contrast to the usual greedy corrupt types that generally populate these dramas. Veteran character actor, Lee Hee Do, who usually plays fairly light-hearted and somewhat comic characters, plays a real contemptible scoundrel in this one.

I just finished watching My Girl and I liked it - the ending was a bit rushed in my opinion but I liked it nonetheless. And the main guy, Lee Dong Wook - wow ...i'm in love so cute and handsome. I saw Cunning Single Lady recently and I really liked it but I also had Lee Min Jung recent troubles in the back of mind . . and it also made me feel bad for her. I have to admit I loved My Girl too and I'm watching Roommate second season mostly for Dong Wook since the first season ended with Shin Sung Woo leaving. I found Shin to be smoking hot!

I just finished watching Who Are You, starring So Hi Hyun, Ok Taec Yeon, and the ever fabulous Kim Jae Wook. While it used a number of common cliches I found it fresh and very watchable. There were some very nice twists and chilling moments. It was a good combination of supernatural suspense and romance. The ending was nicely played leaving room for a 2nd series. That said, I found So Hi Hyun to be not the best actress, but she wasn't wimpy (much) and she conveyed sheer terror well. Taec Yeon was adorable, but I really saw very little chemistry between him and Hi Hyun. He mostly came across as a sweet and slightly dorky younger brother. The chemistry between Hi Hyun and Jae Wook was much better, but he was once again only the 2nd male lead. I'm hoping that Jae Wook will soon get a starring role, because I find him to be an exceptional actor.

I finally finished Kill Me, Heal Me. Now the only dramas I have left to watch are Blood, Hyde, Jekyll and I and Detective's Of Seonam Girls' High.

Hey everyone! I'm feeling out of it but I'm so bored in the hospital being a patient again I thought I'd check in on my laptop - gah! American TV is so awful I can't stand looking at it -- the nurses ask me if they can turn the TV on for me and I say "No!".
The operation went well on Friday, and my biggest concern was not feeling the pacemaker, and I don't, thank God. They say I can probably go home Tuesday or Wednesday! I thought I'd be in at least a week. My vitals look good, they said. I am sleeping a lot, but they've had me up a few times, exercise always good as soon as possible after most surgeries. I'm pretty comfortable, overall, although sometimes there is chest pressure.
coldtoes, I loved Who Are You? It was similar in structure to Master's Sun in many ways. On my old board I had a thread entitled "Where Are They?" about where certain K-drama stars have disappeared to and the FIRST one I mentioned was Jae Wook! I miss him like crazy. He's such a good actor and beautiful to look at, I simply cannot understand why he's left acting for his music. Come back, cutie! You need to cheer me up again with your lovely smile and flowing black hair and lanky lean walk that reminds me of a young Monty Clift.
