Went and got our Covid 19 vaccine today. We got the J&J vaccine. Now just have to see what kind of side affects we get. (Hopefully none!)

Good Luck - I'm not because to me the risks of the vaccine un-knows aren't worth a virus that has to be hyped to be scary. without a test most people would not know they had it. SNAKE-OIL salesmen are living the dream and to me that dream ends in a nightmare called a passport...

I figure if we are suppose to get a flu shot every year to prevent us from getting the flu, I feel this is the same get the vaccine to prevent yourself from getting covid. I mean you get booster shots when you are kids for chicken pox and measles. It's up to each individual what they do. I got it mainly so we don't have to worry about giving anything to my father and daughter, and also because I know someone that died from Covid other then being a little overweight they didn't have any other medical conditions. Yesterday my kids, sister and nieces had flu like side affects, and I had a slight headache, arm hurts where I got the shot and majorly tired, I would rather have these symptoms for a day or two to prevent us from landing in the hospital. Nothing is guaranteed I know but hopefully it helps! We did find out today that J&J is being stopped due to a rare blood clot so we are all concerned about that since my daughter and nieces are within the age group that it affected. Fingers crossed they do not get a blood clot.

i do hope you have no complication , Thanks Montana other then the flue like symptoms the day or two after for my kids, and the headache and being very tired that is all we had. My daughter had a little scare because later in the week she got a headache, and belly pains. We did call the Dr but he didn't seem to concerned. He was right by the next day the belly pains went away but she had the headache for days. On last Monday it hurt her really bad and my son ran her to the ER since I was up at work and couldn't leave since I was the only one there. It ended up being a bad sinus infection. She finally felt a little better today after taking Sudafeed for a week. So hopefully we are all out of the time range since it has been 2 weeks since the shot for any complications from the vaccine.
